He brings this unique cultural perspective to his approach to education as he strives to merge the different worldviews that shaped his own experience. Andreas is a non-traditional educator in that he entered the field only after having worked in the private industry.

Angie has been developing websites since 2000 and using WordPress since it was b2- in other words, a very long time. Additionally, she’s skilled in SEO, PPC, accessibility, and usability. She is passionate about infertility advocacy, video games, web dev, cooking, public speaking, and german shepherd dogs. She’s responsible for the WordCamp website and is also a co-organizer for the local Northeast Ohio WordPress Meetup.

Cameron (@camworld) pioneered the blog format in the late 1990s. He’s built web sites for presidential candidates, the U.S. Army, the World Economic Forum and led the migration of 70+ web sites from a proprietary SaaS to WordPress for NJ’s largest public school district. He’s now migrating all 14,000+ U.S. public school districts to WordPress, saving millions of taxpayer dollars. He hails from Northern Michigan and currently lives outside of NYC with his family.
Caspar Green
Caspar has been building websites since 1998, using WordPress since about 2008, and working almost exclusively with WordPress since 2010. Currently he runs his own business helping nonprofits build websites that work to move their mission forward, based in upstate NY, and is the Lead Developer for Digital Canvas, LLC, a distributed design firm based in Hartville. Caspar grew up in Canton and now lives with his wife and 11-year old Son on the banks of the AuSable River in the Adirondack High Peaks.

Dustin Hartzler is a Happiness Engineer at Automattic by day and a WordPress podcaster by night at YourWebsiteEngineer.com. He enjoys helping people understand and use WordPress to it’s fullest capacity. When he’s not in front of the computer (which is rare), he enjoys spending time traveling and being outside. He lives in Dayton, OH with his wife and 13 month old daugther.

Jaelithe Russ is a complete word nerd, and always has been. She earned her MBA from Kent State University in 2007. After a number of years in the business world she realized that she really ought to be following her passion instead, and switched careers to become a freelance copywriter. She loved it so much that she co-founded Branditarians. Working with her talented partner (Creative Director, Paula Murphy), she helps lead Branditarians in providing clients with exceptional service and amazing marketing, training, positioning and branding campaigns.

Jen started working for Automattic as a Happiness Engineer in late 2013, after leaving a decade of work as a university biology lecturer. She especially loves helping new WordPress users, and has a particular fondness for photoblogs and food blogs. Her photoblog can be found at lightcandy.org, and she has a personal blog at mythreebirds.org. Jen is now a part of the team at WordPress.com that supports the Jetpack plugin, which she (obviously) loves. Jen is a mom of three kids under five years old, and a big fan of dark roast coffee, her 85mm f/1.8 camera lens, NPR, campfires, sleeping in (when her kids let her), and board gaming.

Jessica Gardner is the web development arm of Bitworx, an IT consulting business based in Kent, OH. She has an academic background in linguistics, library science and information architecture, and has been building websites since 1998. Her first WordPress install was in 2013, and she’s been a devotee since. She’s especially drawn to the versatile ways that WordPress can be wrangled to create dynamic, centrally controlled content, and has yet to find an information process that WordPress can’t handle. Off the web, she is into all aspects of food (growing, purchasing, cooking and eating), yoga, and child rearing. She lives in Kent with her husband and two kids.

Joe, Owner and Creative Director of Trailer Trash Design has been using WordPress for 7 years. Joe develops and provides WordPress solutions for his clients and non-profit organizations. An avid WordPress fan, Joe has presented at multiple WordCamps in the U.S. and Canada including WordCamp Toronto, Columbus, Philadelphia, Grand Rapids, Dayton, Buffalo and North Canton. Joe is a self-proclaimed WordPress/WordCamp junkie.

Michele Butcher is a blogger, teacher, designer, and all around awesome person. She is the WordPress Specialist cleaning hacked websites over at WP Security Lock. She is the chief think tank at 13 Core and the brains behind Can’t Speak Geek. Michele is a beginners and intermediate WordPress instructor at John A Logan College and the Lead Organizer for the Southern Illinois WordPress Meetup. When not in front of her Mac, Michele enjoys helping her daughter with her own blog and spending time with her family living life.

Nile Flores is a sassy Southern Illinois mom who is also a WordPress designer and developer. She’s been helping the WordPress community for years, like since it’s beginning. Nile runs Blondish.net , which talks about Blogging, WordPress, SEO, Social Media, and Web Design. She also runs a nearly 7,000 member community called All About WordPress, which is dedicated to helping WordPressers around the world.
In the news, Nile recently received the 2014 Community Choice award in the Expert category of the Small Business Influencer Awards, hosted by Small Biz Trends. She also recently joined the Team Yoast, same creators of WordPress SEO by Yoast and Google Analytics for WordPress by Yoast, as part of support.
When she’s not getting knee deep in WordPress related stuff, she’s hanging with her son, painting, writing poetry, or practicing karate.

Since then, he has submerged himself in all things WordPress; developing WordPress sites and attending WordCamps and meetups while discovering his own WordPress voice. Most recently, Rich has joined the WP Roundtable Podcast team and when he’s not knee-deep in achieving Career 2.0, Rich works full time in Supply Chain and teaches Web Development at a local Community College, evenings and online.
