This just in campers! There will be a Happiness Bar at WordCamp North Canton. What’s a Happiness Bar you ask?
The “Happiness Bar” is just like going to the “Genius Bar” offered by Apple as part of their in-store Tech support services. The bar is a table manned by knowledgeable volunteers in various forms of training and troubleshooting.
The Happiness Bar at WordCamp North Canton will be staffed by WordCamp North Canton Volunteers and Speakers. They’ll be there to solve all your burning WordPress questions. So be sure to make the most of the shared knowledge at the WordCamp North Canton Happiness Bar and get Happy!
The planning committee decided at last night’s meeting, we should open up the Call for Speakers on February 11th. Yup. That’s next Monday. If you’d like to speak at WordCamp North Canton or know someone that would, be sure to come back here to submit your session idea. We know you’re excited… so are we, but you can’t do it just yet, come back on the 11th.
WordCamp North Canton will be held on the Main Campus of Stark State College. There will be plenty of free parking with easy on and off access to I-77, The Akron-Canton Airport, the Official WCNC After Party and the Hampton Inn and Suites for our overnight guests.
Right now the temperature in North Canton is 5 degrees. Warm yourself up with this thought… May is 98 days away. WordCamp North Canton is 102 days away. That’s gotta warm you up… right?
And it’s officially official. Well it’s always been kind of official, but now we’re making it officially official. Ermanno’s Legendary Pizza is the OFFICIAL supplier of deliciousness to WordCamp North Canton.
Last Friday night was was the first official meeting of the WordCamp North Canton Committee. We got a ton of things figured out but realized that there were many more that still needed our attention. We’ve got a pretty solid schedule put together. Our call for speakers will go out Mid-February and tickets will go on sale in early March.
WordCamp North Canton is starting to generate some buzz. An article about WordCamp North Canton hit the pages of the North Canton Patch.
